MEST Updates: Dropifi, AdsBrook and Leti Games in the news!
TopApps Awards
Last night was yet another exciting moment for us all here at the Meltwaater Entrepreneurial School of Technology. The maiden TopApps awards held in Accra at the Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT announced Dropifi (A startup from the MEST Incubator) as over all TopApps of the year!
In addition to ‘top app of the year’ award, there are a couple more
- New innovative app of the year: AdsBrook (Online and mobile ads serving company targeting Africa and emerging markets)
- Web App of the year: Dropifi (A contacts management platform for website owners)
- Top user experience: Dropifi
A special recognition award was awarded to the Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST) for its contributions towards apps development from Ghana. View full list of winners here.
Young Creative Entrepreneurs (YCE)
The same night over at the British council, Eyram Tawiah from Leti Games was announced winner of the ‘young creative entrepreneur’ from Ghana by the British Council in Accra!
Eyram is CEO & co-founder of Leti Games, whose goal is to make mobile and web based games that compete globally with local expertise.
